How is it done:
NR (Nicotinamide Riboside), is a natural molecule existing in the human body, and can also be found in smaller doses in milk and beer. It is also used as a food additive and considered a super-food. NR functions as a precursor, and has the capability to raise NAD+ levels in cells.
Despite the fact that NAD+ itself can be produced, it cannot be incorporated into a cosmetic formula, and be applied directly onto the skin, becuase NAD+ is naturally generated only inside the cell. Alone, it cannot cross the intercellular barrier, and there are no pores (conexins) that allow the admittance of NAD+ into the cell.
NR Nobelâ„¢ resolves that issue by disintegrating NAD+ molecule into smaller molecules, and encapsulating the resulting complex into microcapsules that allow it to travel safely into the cell. Once inside, the complex is rebuilt back into NAD+.
Clinical Trial
The main focus of our clinical trial was to determine the safety of the active ingredient. The clinical trial lasted 40 days, in the course of which we were able to determine (a) the safety of the product, (b) its positive effect on overall skin condition. The clinical trial had been conducted by Dr. Ora Sheifer, a leading dermatologist.
35 female subjects between the ages of 65-35 were given a cream base substance for a period of 40 days of daily topical application. The trial was conducted double blind.
Group A - received cream base + NR Group B - received placebo
Results
Safety: None of the patients reported any discomfort, irritation, abnormal sensation.
Overall condition: Uniform complexion, smoother skin, diminished wrinkles, a visible lifting effect, plumper skin.
